Gareth Williams writes:

It was a poignant moment today. Dave Roberts,
the UK's first Community Mayor, laid a wreath on behalf of Middlewich Town Council. He did us all proud, and I am seriously chuffed to have played my part in bringing this about. I was also blown away by the fantastic work of the Heritage Trust and all those residents (many of them school children) who have worked on the memorial garden. It is absolutely stunning. I am full of love for Middlewich today.

Mike Hunter adds:

A great day and well played to Kerry who played a big part in the restoring of the monument and Garden.
